A Bit About Me
- The name is Lauren, 22 years old Indonesian girl. Virgo. Blood type O.
- I love all activities that includes sweating,
- my perfect day would be watching sunset in my hometown,
- I honestly wish that Elvis was still alive and that superman was real
- life-time motto: everything happens for a reason … such a cliche, i know.. but it keeps me smiling…
- I’m not sure since when i developed the love of studying (maybe since i’m afraid to go out and face the world). Thus, although my previous major was international business, with the mixture of opportunity, connection, blessings and a naive dream to fix Indonesia’s environment, I’m now a student at the graduate school of forestry -erosion control- in Kyoto University.
- I arrived in Japan on November 2006 and
- I’m still stunned,
- still lost in translation,
- still amazed,
- still frustrated,
- ……
- still learning…

Hey, I found you! I didn’t know you have a blog?! Now I do, too. How’s life?
did you get a scholarship or by your own expenses? How much does it cost to go study there? I really want to go there >.<
Hey Lis, are you Indonesian?
well, either way, if you want to study here, go to your closest Japanese embassy/consulate.
they should have scholarship programs. Luckily, I am here on scholarship plus part time job, school and living cost are too expensive (school fee is around 600.000 yen a year for national universities)…
