My four years in Europe came and went so quickly that although there are so many amazing memories, there are still a handful of things I wish I had seen, places I wish I had gone, things I wish I had done or at least had done more often.
I know this two years in Japan will go away like a flash too and because only a donkey trips on the same stone, now I am making a list of things I have to do before I leave Japan:
- Watch how to make mochi (v)
- A self portrait with full geisha make up and kimono (v)
- Learn at least 3 enka songs
- Learn at least 3 JPoP (v)
- Manga exhibition (v)
- Shinjuku, Harajuku, other juku s, Ginza (v)
- On warm days go to kamogawa river as often as possible (v)
- Visit the three most beautiful places in Japan:
- Hiroshima & Itsukushima Shrine (v)
- Matsushima
- Amanohashidate
- Kiyomizudera on Sakura season (v)
- Onsen (hotspring) (v)
- SanrioLand
- Tea Ceremony (v)
- Daibutsu (v)
- Buy as much as possible uniquely useful things — i can’t explain it…they have so many small useful things we never thought actually helped our activities..(v)
- buy as much as possible hellokitty useful things..USEFUL THINGS only!!! (v)
- Calligraphy
- Ikebana (v)
- Find japan’s anti aging products
- as many temples as possible (v)
- Kodomo no hi (v)
- setsubun mamemaki (v)
- Mount Fuji hiking –> too tough and cold, will change it into: Go to hotspring with a view of Mount Fuji.
- Hotaru Picnic (v)
- Gion Matsuri (v)
that’s all for now.
Hi Laurentia, just checking out your blog. Very nice and well-written. I have started blogs in the past but I never know what to write about so I give up quickly. As for your to-do list, I don’t have geisha makeup but I would love to shoot your portrait sometime.
